Booking Airline Travel

Arriving from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)
Taxi: Taxis to the Hyatt Regency Washington are available outside the baggage claim area. Approximate taxi rates by area can be found here. Fares will likely be around $20-$30(10-20 minute ride).

Metro (Subway): Take the Yellow line from the airport (in the direction of Mount Vernon Square) to the Gallery Place/Chinatown stop. Transfer to the Red line and take it two stops to Union Station (in the direction of Silver Spring or Glenmont). The Union Station Metro stop is three blocks from the hotel. The fare is approximately $2.85 (30-minute ride), and riders will need to make a one-time purchase of $2 for a SmarTrip card. Fares may vary based on the time of day. Shuttle Service: Super Shuttle service is available seven days a week. Shuttle vans are located outside the baggage claim area—look for “Ground Transportation” signs at the airport. Shuttles will be blue vans with yellow lettering. The shuttle will make multiple stops on its way but it will drop you off directly at the hotel. You can make advance reservations by calling (800) 258-3826 or booking online. The fare is approximately $19 one-way. The length of the trip depends on the number of stops required by the other passengers.

Arriving from Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)
Taxi: Taxis are available on the lower level outside baggage claim. Approximate taxi rates by area can be found here. Fares will likely be around $60-$80 (50-60 minute ride).

Shuttle Service: The approximate fare for Super Shuttle is $33 one-way ($10 for additional passengers in the same party). You can make advance reservations by calling (800) 258-3826 or booking online here.

Arriving from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)
Taxi: Taxis are available on the lower level outside baggage claim. The fare is approximately $90 (1-hour ride). Approximate taxi rates by area can be found here.

MARC Train to Washington, DC: This is a commuter train from BWI to Union Station, which is three blocks from the hotel. The approximate cost is $7 one-way. The MARC train runs on weekdays and with limited service on weekends. You will take the Penn Line to and from the airport. Complete schedules and fares can be found here.

Amtrak: Amtrak trains provide service to the BWI Rail Station, where free shuttles serve the airport terminal. Passengers should go to the lower arrival level and look for the buses labeled Amtrak/Marc. At the BWI Marshall Airport terminal, shuttles stop at each designated airline check-in counter. Shuttle buses from the BWI terminal building to the rail station operate every 10minutes from 5:00 am to 1:00 am daily, and every 25 minutes between 1:00 am and 5:00 am daily. Arriving from Union Station/Amtrak
Walking: The Hyatt Regency Washington is located three blocks from Union Station. Follow the exit signs to the front of Union Station. Take E Street (between the semicircle of flags) to the intersection of E Street NW and New Jersey Avenue NW. Taxis: Taxis are available outside the front entrance of Union Station. The fare is approximately $5.50, with possible surcharges.
