STATE-SPECIFIC WORK
At the state level, actions revolve around state Medicaid programs, which are different depending on population and needs. One way in which states customize their Medicaid programs is through 1115 waivers. Reducing state’s ability to improve their programs harms community health and widens the gap in addressing health-related social needs (HRSN).
