In honor of Mother’s Day, we would like to reshare our 117th Congress Policy Recommendations for Children and Families.
As Congress and the Biden Administration consider how best to advance critical health policy priorities in future legislation, it is essential that the needs of children and families do not get lost in the shuffle. Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, the state of our children’s health was precarious, and the pandemic has amplified the inequitable access to care that Americans across the nation experience. We urge Congress and the Biden Administration to include policies that are responsive to a foundational set of principles that underscore what children, pregnant people, and families need to achieve their optimal health and advance their wellbeing.
