Zoe Torrey

Zoe Torrey was a Policy Intern who assisted the health policy team with research and drafting. Before joining Families USA, Torrey worked as intern with the Towards Truth project, a collaborative project from the Public Interest Advocacy Centre that aims to empower First Nations people in Australia and calls for constitutional reforms. While there, Torrey analyzed policy documents and created a database to show the real state of First Nations people’s affairs in Australia. Before working with Towards Truth, Torrey served as a Health Access intern with the Nationalities Service Center in Philadelphia, helping refugee families access health care. Torrey is a rising senior at the University of Chicago, working toward a BA in Public Policy and French.
