Lee Taylor-Penn
Senior Policy Analyst
Lee Taylor-Penn is a Senior Policy Analyst at Families USA (FUSA), where she provides policy analysis and strategy support across the organization. Prior to FUSA, Lee worked at the National Governors Association (NGA) and covered a range of public health policy issues including chronic disease prevention and promotion, vaccination policy, and maternal-child health.
Before joining NGA, Lee engaged in a range of policy research issues at the state and local level and has worked to integrate health equity into such pressing policy issues as air quality, food justice, and the criminal and juvenile legal system. Lee got her start in public health at the Richmond, VA, health department, shortly after completing her undergraduate education.
Lee has an M.P.A. and M.P.H. from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and a B.A. in liberal arts from the University of Mississippi.
