Katie Corrigan

Katie Corrigan is the Chief of Staff at Families USA, where she is responsible for the day-to-day management of the organization and executing on organizational goals in collaboration with FUSA’s talented staff.  Corrigan joined Families USA from the AFL-CIO, where she served in senior leadership roles as Deputy Chief of Staff to former President Richard Trumka and Special Assistant to then Secretary-Treasurer Elizabeth Shuler. Prior to that, she co-directed Workplace Flexibility 2010, a major policy initiative at Georgetown Law and was Visiting Professor of Law and Policy Director at Georgetown’s Kalmanovitz Initiative for Labor and the Working Poor. Her background also includes working Chairman Tom Harkin (D-IA) as Senior Counsel on Disability Policy at the United States Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions and as Legislative Counsel at the ACLU. She received a J.D. degree from Georgetown Law and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
