Hannah Markus

Hannah Markus was a Strategic Partnerships Coordinator at Families USA. Her work focuses on organizing and maintaining strategic relationships with state and national partners, and providing strategic support across the oral health, Consumers First, Medicaid, and private coverage portfolios. Before entering this role, Markus interned at Families USA, researching and analyzing state-based and federal marketplaces, and Medicaid enrollment. Prior to joining Families USA, she researched and advocated for equity in a variety of health and health policy settings. Markus was a field organizer, assisting in passing a gun safety ballot in Washington state, a researcher tracking state trends in the implementation of value-based care at the University of Michigan Center for Value-Based Insurance Design, and performed outreach to connect Seattle communities to HIV vaccine research at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Markus holds a BA in Public Health from the University of Washington.
