Virtual Roundtable: Taking Action to Lower Prescription Drug Costs

As Congress returns this month to finalize the $3.5 billion reconciliation package, voters and stakeholders across New Jersey are urging Senator Bob Menendez to make sure the final legislation includes measures that will bring down the cost of prescription drugs.

On Wednesday, September 8, Families USA and New Jersey Citizen Action hosted a virtual roundtable discussion about the need to take action now to lower the cost of prescription drugs for New Jersey families.

The roundtable will include speakers from Small Business for America’s Future, Doctors for America, UNIDOS, and Latino Action Network. Too many people in New Jersey are rationing or struggling to afford the medicine they need, and many organizations have joined New Jersey Citizen Action and Families USA to call on Senator Menendez to act now to lower the cost of prescription drugs.
