This media telebriefing discussed Families USA’s new report, Without Federal Support for Health Insurance, Job Losses will Become Significantly Worse, which explores the impact of COVID-19-related insurance losses on employment. The report indicates if unemployment remains roughly at May levels, the resulting loss of comprehensive health insurance would eliminate an estimated 1.5 million to 2.5 million jobs in health care and related industries.
