Over 400 Organizations Call on Congress to Prioritize Families’ Health in Next COVID-19 Relief Package

On April 23rd, 2020, Families USA led over 400 national, state, and community organizations in this letter to Congress outlining key health and health care priorities for the next COVID-19 response legislation. This letter is signed by an extraordinarily broad group, bringing together organizations representing consumers, providers, labor, insurance plans, telemedicine, civil rights issues, the faith community, LGBTQ communities, public health, state and county officials, community-based organizations, businesses, and social service providers. These organizations represent nearly all 50 states and Washington, DC.

As Congress considers additional legislation to address the pandemic, our organizations urge them to advance legislation that ensures all families across our nation have the ability to seek the care they need to stay healthy. The targeted recommendations in this letter would provide immediate support to communities in America that need relief now.
