Nearly 150 Organizations Sign Comments to Support Streamlining Medicaid and CHIP Eligibility and Enrollment

Families USA and Community Catalyst, along with nearly 150 state and national level organizations, submitted comments in support of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ proposed regulation to reduce administrative barriers that keep eligible people from enrolling in or maintaining health coverage in Medicaid and CHIP. This proposal is an important step forward, and also shows where there are opportunities for additional rule making to make enrollment policies as strong as possible.
