Letter in support of comprehensive health coverage, sent to President-Elect Biden and his transition team

This letter, sent by a broad range of stakeholders concerned about health coverage, urged the incoming Biden administration to prioritize health insurance defense within the administration’s response to COVID-19. To restore coverage losses triggered by economic downturn and to provide all families the health security that comes from comprehensive, affordable, high-quality coverage, organizations urged President-Elect Biden to take two steps: include coverage defense within COVID-19 relief legislation; and issue an executive order requiring all federal agencies to do whatever they can to improve the affordability of coverage and to increase participation in health coverage programs.
