Families USA Submits Comments on Trump’s Proposed Public Charge Rule

Families USA has submitted comments on the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) proposed rule, Public Charge Ground of Inadmissibility proposed rule.

Families USA opposed the proposed rule and urged USCIS and DHS to rescind the rule, which would penalize lawfully present immigrants from accessing important and life-saving services and have lasting impacts on the country’s public health.
