Cross-Sector Coverage Sign On Letter

On August 11, Families USA and 25 national partners representing consumer advocates, equity organizations, employers, health care providers, patients, unions, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and health insurers sent this letter to Congress urging the inclusion of comprehensive health coverage in the next COVID-19 legislative package. The broad, diverse group of partners sent a clear message about the importance of comprehensive health coverage to combatting the spread of COVID-19, protecting struggling families’ health and financial security, promoting equity, and supporting employment and economic recovery.
