Consumers First Submits Comment to CMS on CY2024 Physician Payment Rule Supporting Community Health Integration Services and Primary Care

Consumers First submitted comments to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services on the CY 2024 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule proposed rule which sets the payment rates for how most physicians and paid throughout the health care system. The comment letter expands on the following feedback:

• Refine and modify descriptors related to Community Health Integration Services.
• Support and further extend reimbursement for primary care.
• Support reimbursement for behavioral health services.
