115 House Representatives Urge CMS to Improve Medicare’s “Medically Necessary” Dental Coverage

In this letter, 115 members of the House of Representatives are urging the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to use its existing authority to further improve coverage of medically necessary dental care in Medicare. The letter calls on CMS to build on existing coverage and ensure that Medicare beneficiaries suffering from diabetes, kidney disease, autoimmune disorders, heart disease, cancer, and more and get the oral health care they need to advance their medical treatment.
