“The Hill” Newspaper Names Ron Pollack One of Washington’s Top Grassroots Lobbyists for 2016

Washington, D.C. – The staff of The Hill newspaper today named Ron Pollack, executive director of Families USA, to its annual list of “Top Grassroots Lobbyists for 2016 Grassroots.” Pollack has been named to this list several times over the years, including the last five years in a row.

Said The Hill: “Pollack is serving his final year at Families USA, capping a 33-year career during which he served as a driving force behind ObamaCare’s passage and rollout.”

Pollack said “The Hill’s” citation serves as a reminder that more needs to be done, with the Affordable Care Act providing a solid foundation to build upon.

“If Hillary Clinton is elected President, we will have turned a corner on the debate over the Affordable Care Act,” Pollack said. “Talk of repeal will no longer be credible, and we can get down to the hard work of improving the ACA so it works even better for the American people.”
