Media Advisory: Health Care on the Chopping Block for Millions of Families
Updated 12/20/19
The decision made yesterday by the U.S. Court of Appeals to send the health care repeal lawsuit back to the district court has put health care for millions of families in serious jeopardy. It also threatens protections for people with pre-existing conditions and the affordability of health care.
On Friday, December 20 at 3:30 p.m. Eastern, Families USA will host a media tele-briefing highlighting the very serious impact the decision will have on families.
Health care consumers will discuss their anxieties about potential impacts. Eliot Fishman, Families USA’s senior director of health policy, will discuss the policy implications of their concerns.
