Families USA Welcomes Nationally-Recognized Communications Leader, Kimberly N. Alleyne, as Senior Director of Communications

Washington, D.C. – Families USA, one of the nation’s leading health care consumer organizations dedicated to improving the health and health care of all in the nation, today announced the selection of Kimberly N. Alleyne as Senior Director of Communications. Kimberly joins Families USA after 18 years of experience working in agency, nonprofit, and health care advocacy communications.

Kimberly comes to Families USA from SEIU, where she served as a Senior Communicator in the Health Care Division. Prior to that, she worked at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Association for Enterprise Opportunity, and as a freelance journalist focused on health equity. Throughout her career, she has earned communications awards for her leadership of national public awareness campaigns, and is regarded among industry peers as an expert in audience engagement and health equity.

Kimberly holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communicationsand a graduate degree in health care administration.
