Families USA appoints project management expert Deborah Sartin Director of Project Management
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Families USA (FUSA) Executive Director Frederick Isasi announced that Deborah Sartin, a certified Project Manager Professional (PMP), joined the organization as its new Director of Project Management Operations. Sartin is responsible for building and maintaining structural systems within FUSA that ensure maximum impact as the organization works to ensure the best health and health care are equally affordable and accessible to all.
Sartin has extensive experience leading project management strategies for various nonprofit, corporate and educational organizations. Before joining Families USA, Sartin was director of Ripple Effect’s project management office, where she established new structures for teams, methods and policies and helped increase proposal win rates. She also directed project management operations for the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, the University of Pennsylvania, West Virginia University, Success Academy Charter Schools and the American Speech Language Hearing Association. She also founded a project management training and consulting company. Sartin received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Howard University and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from The George Washington University.
