Families USA appoints Nonprofit Communications Expert Chantez Bailey Director of Communications

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Families USA Executive Director Frederick Isasi announced today that Chantez Bailey has joined the leading national voice for health care consumers as its new Director of Communications. Bailey is responsible for creating and executing strategies to enhance Families USA’s brand through various mediums, including media relations, branding, storytelling, messaging and social media. She also leads project teams on a diverse portfolio of health care issues to effectively highlight the organization’s campaigns. 

Bailey has extensive nonprofit marketing and communications experience. Before joining Families USA, she was senior communications director for the National Resident Matching Program, which matches incoming residents with the hospitals they will perform their residency– as often seen during the annual “match day.” She has also served as director of communications and marketing for both the Barker Adoption Foundation Agency and Operation Lifesaver Inc. Earlier in her career, Bailey held marketing and communications roles at a number of other mission-based organizations, including the Association of American Medical Colleges, Adventist HealthCare System, and the National Association of Broadcasters. Bailey received her Bachelor of Arts in English Arts and Literature /Journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park.
