Families USA, along with Community Catalyst, the National Health Law Program (NHeLP), Service Employees International Union (SEIU), and hundreds of national and state partners will speak directly to Congress and tell them to keep their “Hands Off Medicaid.”

This collective, coordinated action and awareness campaign comes as Republican lawmakers are reportedly putting together proposals to cut or cap Medicaid in order to fund tax cuts for billionaires and big corporations.

“Hands Off Medicaid” is about protecting a lifeline for millions of working families, children, veterans, older adults, people with disabilities and many more, so they can still get the health care they need. Participants will engage local media outlets, post on social platforms and send letters and call their elected officials to raise awareness and signal to Congress and the nation that Medicaid matters to millions of Americans across every state in the nation.
