Our goal is to equip health care providers with the essential skills to advance health equity policy in their states and communities. Through comprehensive training, we aim to empower fellows to leverage their career and provider experience to amplify the voices and experiences of patients, particularly those from historically marginalized communities. Additionally, we seek to foster a deep understanding of how health care intersects with various social drivers of health, facilitating more holistic approaches to advocacy and patient care.

What the Fellowship Offers:

  • Skill Development: Gain practical skills and strategies for effective health equity advocacy, policy analysis, and community engagement.
  • Advocacy Agenda Development: Learn to leverage your personal and provider expertise to advocate for equitable health care policies and practices.
  • Patient Voice Amplification: Develop the tools to uplift the voices and experiences of patients, especially those facing systemic barriers to care.
  • Holistic Learning: Deepen your understanding of how health care intersects with social drivers such as race, socioeconomic status, and access to resources to develop a more holistic understanding of health outside of the clinic.
