Call on Congress to Take Action to Lower the Cost of Prescription Drugs
As Congress returns this month to finalize the $3.5 trillion reconciliation package, New Jersey’s voters and stakeholders are urging Senator Bob Menendez to make sure the final legislation includes measures that will bring down the cost of prescription drugs.
On Wednesday, September 8 at 12:00 PM EST, New Jersey Citizen Action and Families USA will host a virtual roundtable discussion about the need to take action now for New Jersey’s families by lowering the cost of prescription drugs. The roundtable will include speakers from Small Business for America’s Future, Doctors for America, UNIDOS, and Latino Action Network.
This roundtable comes on the same day that 37 organizations are sending a letter to Senator Menendez urging him to take action on skyrocketing prescription drug costs in the upcoming reconciliation package. To join this virtual event, please see the details below, or you can watch live on Facebook here.
