Garrett Hall

Garrett Hall is a Senior Policy Analyst at Families USA, where he provides policy analysis and research to advance Medicaid coverage and access and health equity. Before joining Families USA, Hall worked at the Insure the Uninsured Project (ITUP), a California health policy organization, where he centered the uninsured, Medi-Cal and health equity in the organization’s efforts to convene stakeholders from across the state. Prior to ITUP, Hall completed a thesis predicting the potential impact of Medicaid work requirements on African-Americans using a welfare reform analysis. Hall’s interest in policy and access to care originated while managing one of the University of California Davis’ student-run clinics for the unhoused population of Sacramento.
