Consumers First Letter Urging Action on Prescription Drugs

01.10.2020

Consumers First, an alliance representing employers, providers, consumer organizations, and workers, recently sent this letter to Capitol Hill, urging Congress to advance a number of bipartisan proposals to tackle the high and rising costs of prescription drugs. High and rising prices of prescription drugs impact consumer access to the medicines they need and even impact their ability to afford other health services and basic necessities. Families, employers, health care providers and labor unions are eager for Congress to enact reforms that will rein in high drug costs that put undue burden on families and purchasers. We urge Congress to advance these provisions in this session.
