Erin Hemlin

Senior Director, Communications

Erin Hemlin is the Senior Director of Communications. She brings 15+ years of experience in health care communications and strategic partnerships, demonstrating exceptional ability to lead strategic communications campaigns that bridge policy complexity with consumer understanding.

Most recently, Erin led communications strategy as VP of Communications for America’s Physician Groups. Previously, she served as Senior Advisor at HHS where she spearheaded communications for implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act’s drug pricing provisions. Prior to this role, she directed strategic partnerships for HHS’s We Can Do This COVID-19 public education campaign, managing $6M in partnerships across 1,000+ organizations.

Before joining the Biden-Harris Administration, Erin served as Health Policy and Advocacy Director for Young Invincibles, where she led the health care portfolio, managed national ACA outreach campaigns, and led a coalition of 500+ Navigators. She served as organizational spokesperson to major media outlets including The New York Times, NPR, and MSNBC.
