Families USA Submits Comments on Arkansas’ Proposed Amendment to Medicaid Section 1115 Demonstration Project, Arkansas Health and Opportunity for Me (ARHOME)

Arkansas proposes to amend its current ARHOME Demonstration to add work reporting requirements, under a program known as “Pathway to Prosperity.”  If implemented, Pathway to Prosperity would impact over 230,000 ARHOME enrollees aged 19-64 who qualify for the state’s Medicaid expansion and could cause one in four people subject to the requirement to lose health coverage. Families USA commented urging Arkansas to withdraw this proposed waiver amendment.
