In this letter, a powerful group of Senators urge the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to use its existing authority to further improve coverage of medically necessary dental care in Medicare. The letter calls on CMS to build on existing coverage and ensure that people who rely on Medicare to treat their diabetes, kidney disease, autoimmune disorders, heart disease, cancer, and more and get the oral health care they need to advance their medical treatment.
