Families USA hosted a Twitter Space, featuring Jane Sheehan, our Director of Federal Relations, and Nicki Pogue, a consumer who has received a surprise medical bill, discussing the No Surprises Act and the final rule that was released on August 19th, 2022.

Jane discusses the new rule and what we hope to see going forward. Then she dives into what the law means for consumers and why we need to keep it strong. We also shared information about the protections and how consumers and their advocates can learn more.
