Using Volunteers in Navigator and Assister Programs: Doing More with Less
During open enrollment periods, volunteers can help navigators and assisters cope with the influx of consumers seeking information. Volunteers who are trained as navigators or certified application counselors (CACs) can perform enrollment activities.
