Health Action Highlights: Day 3
The third and final day of Health Action 2016 was short, ending before noon, but managed to cover how politicians are talking about the Affordable Care Act, the morality of health care, and the history of the ACA’s passage.
Our Executive Director Ron Pollack officially closed the conference, bringing himself and many in the audience to tears when he thanked them for the essential work they do: “People like you help people like me carry on.”
10 a.m. Election 2016 and What It Means for Health Care Reform
The closing plenary was a lively debate between Democrat Chris Jennings and self-described “moderate Republican” Tom Scully.
