Families USA will celebrate Ron Pollack’s extraordinary career with a reception, dinner and program on March 14, 2017 at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, DC. Please join us at this beautiful art museum for an evening of appreciation, celebration and fellowship. Several of Ron's closest friends and colleagues will talk about his more than 40 years fighting for social justice as the founding executive director of the Food Research & Action Center and Families USA, and as the founding chair of Enroll America.

This event will also mark an important milestone in the history of Families USA. Ron will pass the torch to a new executive director who will lead the fight to protect the vital health care safety net programs that he helped to create and/or strengthen. The Affordable Care Act, Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program have never been in more jeopardy than they are today. As we honor and thank Ron we will also renew our commitment to fight to achieve his vision of a nation where everyone has equal access to high quality health care.

Proceeds from the dinner will benefit Families USA’s Health Action Campaign Fund which supports our efforts to protect the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid and ensure better health, better care and lower costs for all.
