Melissa Rosenblatt is Senior Director of Operations for Families USA. She works closely with the organization’s leadership team to ensure that the organization has the staff, resources, infrastructure, and administrative processes in place to support effective and efficient organizational operations that enable the staff to achieve programmatic goals. In addition, Ms. Rosenblatt continues to oversee the organization’s competitive internship and fellowship programs and plays a key role in managing board relations. Ms. Rosenblatt has worked at Families USA since 2003. Her roles have included experience as a Development Associate and as Director of the Internship and Fellowship Programs. She has approximately 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector in advocacy organizations and has held fundraising, staff development, and management roles.
Prior to joining Families USA, Ms. Rosenblatt was a Program Administrator for the Consumers Choice Council, a nonprofit organization that works to ensure that consumers in the United States and around the world have the information they need to buy goods and services that are produced in ways that are more environmentally sustainable and socially just. Ms. Rosenblatt is also a former member of the Board of Directors of Community Bridges, an organization that provides multicultural empowerment and leadership programs for girls in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Ms. Rosenblatt holds a BS in foreign service from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
